White Album ED Single - Maiochiru Yuki no You ni by Suara

The White Album ED theme song is called Maiochiru Yuki no You ni and it is sung by Suara. She already did the opening themes for the anime Utawarerumono and Asatte no Hoko.

6.5/10 Maiochiru Yuki no You is a sweet ballad. Suara definitely has a nice voice, but the ballad is a bit too bland for my taste. I'm not sure if it's because of those annoying bells or because of the lackluster chorus. I really like the way the song starts but then the chorus is kind of so-so for me. Not bad, but not brilliant either... Anyway, I like the piano parts throughout the song.

White Album OP Single - Shin Ai by Nana Mizuki

White Album is an anime adaptation of the White Album adult visual novel. Here's the plot summary from AnimeNewsNetwork: Tōya Fuji, a college student is dating a rising idol singer named Yuki Morikawa. There are numerous challenges to the couple's relationship from the other people at Fuji's college, Morikawa's work, and elsewhere.
The OP theme song is Shin Ai sung by Nana Mizuki, who also does the voice of Rina Ogata. Nana Mizuki is a very famous seiyu/singer who has an extensive resume. I loved her songs in the Basilisk anime. A funny fact, this season she does voice acting in two animes, Ride Back and White Album, and her characters are called Rin Ogata and Rina Ogata. What a strange coincidence...

7/10 Shin Ai is yet another beautiful song from the very talented Nana Mizuki. The first time I listened to it, it didn't really convince me, maybe because it's a bit melody-lacking. But after a few listens, it's actually a nice song, but nothing breathtaking like Wild Eyes, my favorite Nana Mizuki song (that song is nothing short of amazing!).
