There are plenty of women in Hollywood who have vowed to not speak of their relationships in interviews, and while some – like Beyonce – have found themselves opening up a little of late, Jessica Biel continues to keep her lips sealed.
“Justin Timberlake is the one part of my life that I own,” Jessica told the January 2009 issue of Britain GQ according to Marie Claire UK. “And not for anyone else.”
Jessica, who began dating the pop star in 2007, said she considers JT “one sparkly present,” she told GQ. “And I don’t want to open it in front of strangers.”
While her relationship with Justin is off limits to the world, Jessica is happy to talk about her career. The actress, who has gone from TV star to screen gem over the last decade, said she hopes one day women’s roles will equal those of their male counterparts.
“Your face and your body can get your foot in the door, obviously. And I’m thankful for that,” she told the mag. “But I think it’s almost historical in Hollywood that there just aren’t so many good parts for women as [there] are for men. I think as long as you’re playing the wife or the girlfriend to the lead then you’re always playing second fiddle to the guys.”
