A rift in the friendship between Montag and the show's lead Lauren Conrad was blamed for the skip, but the real reason may have actually been that Montag was getting a boob job. The 20-year-old underwent breast augmentation surgery on Monday in Beverly Hills after considering the procedure for many years, sources say.
