Following yesterday's announcement that the cause of Anna Nicole Smith's death would be announced at a press conference on Monday, some well-known tabloids claim to already have the scoop. Star mag and the National Enquirer report that a drug overdose and blood infection caused the former Playmate's demise. Sources told the rags that when Smith arrived at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, she was suffering from a 105 degree fever and quickly developed a second infection from a virulent form of norovirus. Smith allegedly began vomiting and suffering from severe diarrhea and dehydration, but instead of taking her to a hospital, her entourage gave her an ice bath, an antibiotic and an over-the-counter flu medication. After telling her staff she wanted to sleep, Smith was reportedly given a toxic dose of chloral hydrate, a sleep aid, and never woke up.Post Title
