Julia to receive film honors

Julia Roberts will receive the 22nd annual American Cinematheque award this fall. The non-profit organization unanimously chose the Pretty Woman to receive the award, which has previously been granted to Nicole Kidman, George Clooney, Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise and Martin Scorsese. "Julia Roberts is a true movie star who has delighted audiences and critics in so many pictures," a rep for the cinema-arts group said. The award will be presented on October 12 in Beverly Hills.

Julia welcomes baby number three

Julia Roberts and husband Danny Moder welcomed their third child, son Henry Daniel Moder earlier today. Henry was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA and weighed 8.5 lbs. "The Moder family is doing great," the actress's rep confirmed. Henry is brother to two-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus.

Julia to make film about wildlife conservationist

Julia Roberts is busy planning her next movie, which will follow the completion of her current project: baby number three. Roberts will produce and star in a movie about Kenyan wildlife conservationist Joan Root, who was murdered in her home country earlier this year. The film will follow Root's life making documentaries around the world with her husband. After the couple's divorce, Root returned to Kenya to fight to save Lake Naivasha from the ecologically harmful flower farming industry.
