Aretha Franklin Diagnosed With Cancer, Her Family Confirms
Aretha Franklin underwent surgery last week, only sharing that it was successful, but not revealing what type of surgery she had. Whispering started about health concerns for the singer, and the National Enquirer reported that she’s suffering from pancreatic cancer. According to PopEater, her family has confirmed that she is battling cancer, but haven’t specified what type.
“God is still in control. I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country.”Aretha’s doctors advised her to cancel all performances and appearances through May.
