Lady GaGa Collaborates With Polaroid Again

 Lady GaGa hasn't wasted any time expanding her resume in 2011 - she's set to announce a new collaboration with Polaroid instant cameras later this month. GaGa announced plans to help bosses at the famed photography firm revive their classic cameras after production halted back in 2008, and she went on to create a range of fashionable, fast-selling items for the brand.

Now brand bosses have snapped up the "Paparazzi" hitmaker once again, for what they call the Polaroid Grey Label. Further details about the collaboration are set to be announced at
the 2011 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Thursday, January 6.

A statement on Polaroid's website reads, "A year in the making, Polaroid Grey Label is a collaboration between two of the most influential icons of our time. Polaroid and Lady Gaga. Join us at Polaroid.com as we reveal the next generation instant experience. Live from CES in Las Vegas. January 6th, 2011 at 3:30pm PST."

Bon Jovi, AC/DC, U2 and Lady GaGa Have Biggest-Selling World Tours

Bon Jovi have the most successful world tour this year. Although their latest record "The Circle" did not sell strongly, Jon Bon Jovi and his bandmates managed to rake in a whopping $201.1 million worth of tickets for at least their 80 concerts around the world in a traveling show to promote the album.

Bon Jovi beat 2009's highest-grossing acts U2 and AC/DC.
U2 were atop the list last year with $311 million, and AC/DC followed with $227 million. Now, Bono and the gang come in the third place with $160.9 million (32 shows), behind Brian Johnson-fronted band who successfully sold $177 million (40 shows).

Next, there is Lady GaGa. The outlandish singer who scores this year's world's biggest-selling album matches the accolade by becoming the fourth-biggest tour earner of the year. Her lengthy "Monster Ball" tour pulls in an impressive $133.6 million from 138 gigs throughout 2010.

Other musicians appearing on top concerts list include Metallica, Michael Buble, Paul McCartney and Eagles. Overall, tough economy has caused this year's ticket sales on the downslide. Ticket sales for the top 50 tours worldwide fell 12 percent to $2.93 billion, and they dropped 15 percent to $1.69 billion in North America.

Lady GaGa, Eminem, Justin Bieber Score World's Best-Selling Albums of 2010

Lady GaGa has sold albums more than any other artists this year. A German website Media Traffic put her November 2009 effort "The Fame Monster" on top of their list that tallies worldwide album sales collected from a variety of international sources.

The extended play of her debut album "The Fame", "Monster" pulled in 5.8 million copies around the globe over the course of this year.
"THE FAME MONSTER was named the best-selling album of 2010! I'm so excited for the future, believe + work hard, you will achieve your dreams," she shared her joy on Twitter.

The huge selling number of "The Fame Monster" contributes to placing GaGa among Forbes' 2010 top-earning celebrities. The avid supporter of Gay and Lesbian community is ranked at No. 14 with a total of $62 million in the list led by media mogul Oprah Winfrey.

Back at the United World Albums chart, following close behind GaGa at the second place on the list is Eminem as his rap effort "Recovery" sold around 5.7 million copies. Next, there is Justin Bieber who rakes in 5.6 million copies with his "My World" collections.

Lady Antebellum sit at No. 4 with their "Need You Now" sold 3.6 million. Chart rivals Taylor Swift and Susan Boyle secure the fifth and sixth spots respectively. The country music album "Speak Now" sold an estimated 3.5 million, while the holiday set "The Gift" pulled in around 3.0 million.

Lady GaGa Is the Most Charitable Celebrity of 2010

 Lady GaGa has beaten Alicia Keys to lead the list of the most charitable celebrities of the year. The "Poker Face" hitmaker's outspoken support for gay rights and her tireless efforts in the campaign for the repeal of the U.S. military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy placed her at number one, just ahead of Keys, who led the charge against HIV and AIDS in 2010.

The ladies are at the top of the Celebs Gone Good countdown, compiled by teen charity DoSomething.org. Country sweetheart Taylor Swift, Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, Matt Damon and Justin Bieber all feature in the top 10. Elsewhere, a similar list about the most charitable celebrities compiled by The Giving Back Fund puts Oprah Winfrey on top. The media mogul is estimated to have donated more than $41 million through her initiative, Oprah Winfrey Foundation, which helps those in need for education access and programs for women and children.

Ozzy Osbourne has urged pop sensation Lady GaGa to take a break - because he's "getting a bit sick" of the superstar. The "Prince of Darkness" has supported the "Poker Face" newcomer throughout her meteoric rise to fame, and even suggested the odd couple should head into the studio together earlier this year.
But Osbourne admits he has grown tired of seeing GaGa whenever he turns on the TV or opens a magazine, and insists she needs to take time out, so her fans don't get bored with her. He says, "I do think Lady GaGa should take a break for a little while. She's getting to be too much... She's just too overexposed."

"She could be the next Madonna if she played her cards right. I like her, but I'm getting a bit sick of her. When I turn on the TV, I see her wearing another lampshade or whatever. She needs to take a break, I think, for an hour or so."

Pantless Lady GaGa Goes Shopping in Freezing Cold

 Near-freezing temperature didn't stop outlandish singer Lady GaGa to bare her body in her unusual outfit. The Mother Monster opted unzipped black leather jacket, fishnet stockings and high-platform shoes but no pants when going for a shopping spree in Paris on Tuesday, December 21.

GaGa went to Bruce Field boutique and stayed inside the shop for about 20 minutes, according to an eyewitness. Still pantless, the singer who was staying in the city for her Monster Ball concerts reportedly continued to walk around Palais Royal despite the chilling weather.

Lady GaGa's concerts in Paris took place on December 20 and 21 night.
The Tuesday gig was a makeup date for her December 19 show which was postponed because her tour trucks were denied entry to the city due to snow storms, and two of her crew were arrested that day.

Lady GaGa Cancels Concert as Her Trucks and Crew Are Detained in Paris

Lady GaGa was left "devastated" and "furious" when finding out that her tour trucks carrying her logistic were denied entry to Paris due to snow storms, and two of her crew were arrested. This prompted the "Poker Face" hitmaker to cancel her Monster Ball concert which was supposed to take place at the Bercy on December 19.


"All 28 of my trucks for the Monsterball were detained by the French government going on over 26 hrs, 2 of my employees were arrested trying to get into Paris so we could perform," she revealed in a series of Tweets. "I am furious and devasted (sic), its unfair to my fans and to me. Devastated to get into Paris so we could perform."

Despite the problem, GaGa initially wanted to go ahead with the concert because she didn't want to disappoint her Little Monsters. She explained how she planned the gig without her equipment, "I asked if I could do a stripped version of show, but there would be no sound or power source, its all been detained. I'm so sorry,angry+sad."

Thus, the only solution left for her is rescheduling. "Today's cancelled Paris show is rescheduled for Tuesday, 2moro's show will happen as planned. I promise to give u the nights of ure (sic) life," she announced after previously attaching a photo of the snow storms.

'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Repealed, Lady GaGa Burst in Tears

Lady GaGa burst into tears when she heard politicians have voted to lift the ban on gay men and women openly serving in the U.S. army - insisting she feels "so proud to be an American". The pop superstar has long campaigned for gay rights and she has been a fierce opponent of the country's controversial Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT) policy, which required homosexuals to hide their orientation or risk losing their job.


Politicians in the U.S. Senate repealed the law on Friday, December 17 and GaGa has now spoken of her delight. She took to Twitter.com to post a picture of herself smiling and holding a sign reading, "Full equality", adding in a message, "Can't hold back the tears + pride. We did it! Our voice was heard + today the Senate repealed DADT. A triumph for equality after 17 years... Today I am so proud to be American. I wish I was home so I could throw a Parade. We are on the way... to full equal."

Other stars have joined Gaga in praising the move - Katy Perry wrote on Twitter, "Supporting all our troops!... Congrats 2 US!!! repeal of DADT & 17 years of allowing human rights violations. There's hope after all."

Gay pop star Ricky Martin wrote, "One step closer to equality!! DADT is gone! Historical!", while actor Neil Patrick Harris added, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell repealed! So proud of Congress for making the right decision. Now all soldiers can serve with integrity. A great day!"
