"Byousoku 5 Centimeter" encoded by Alfonso.
Byousoku 5 Centimeter (5 Centimeters Per Second) is a 2007 Japanese animated feature film by Makoto Shinkai. Makoto Shinkai had expressed that, unlike his past works, there would be no fantasy or science fiction elements in this film. Instead, the feature film would attempt to present the real world from a different perspective. Makoto's film gives a realistic view of the struggles many face against, time, space, people, and love. The movie is named 5 Centimeters Per Second for the speed at which cherry blossom petals fall, petals being a metaphorical representation of humans, reminiscent of the slowness of life and how people often start together but slowly drift into their separate ways.

Episode 1: Ōkashō
Ōkashō (Cherry Blossom Extract): Upon graduating from elementary school, Takaki Tōno and his close friend Akari Shinohara drifted apart. Akari moved to Tochigi Prefecture due to her parents' jobs, while Takaki attended a junior high in Tokyo. The two kept in contact by writing letters, but despite the special feelings that existed between them, the only thing that persisted was time. When Takaki became aware that his family would move to Kagoshima, he decided to go see Akari since they would be too far apart to visit each other after he moved. However, when the day came, a severe snowstorm delayed Takaki's trip, and it would be hours before he reached Iwafune, where they promised to meet.

Episode 2: Cosmonaut
Takaki is now in the third year of senior high in Tanegashima, where the Tanegashima Space Center is located. Kanae Sumita, a classmate of Takaki, has special feelings for Takaki, but she does not have the courage to express her love to him. She later observes that Takaki is always staring off into the distance, as if searching for something far far away.

Episode 3: Byōsoku 5 Centimeter
It is now 2008, and all three characters have gone their separate ways. Takaki is now a computer programmer in Tokyo, and Akari is preparing to get married. One day, Takaki goes out and sees the face of a familiar-looking woman at a railroad-crossing. Puzzled by the encounter, he tries to look back, but a train comes and cuts off his view.

Rika first try to contact Akasaka, but he is in spa. Then she asks Irie and Takano, to use Yamainu to kill Satoko's uncle. But unfortunately, since Rina got killed, police is looking at Houjou Teppei as main culprit, therefore Takano is unable to use Yamainu to kill him. Rika nearly snaps and violently abandon whole world. Situation repeated itself as in Tatarigoshi-hen again. Chie-sensei is unable to help Satoko. But in this world, instead of Maebara Keichii, the one who will try to kill Teppei is Sonozaki Shion. But thanks to Keichii's help, they manage to calm her down. Later, whole group is trying to ask for help at Child Counseling Center. But even there, they cannot do anything. After that, even Keichii agrees that this situation is hopeless, but Rika, who starts crying and begging for help, returns him back from misfortune.

Meanwhile, Raki discovers that Priscilla is an Awakened Being after hearing a scream and finding Priscilla in a cave eating a person. At this point, Isley steps in and tells him she is an Awakened Being. Meanwhile, the battle between the Claymores and the Awakened Ones changes with the appearance of the Lion-Eyed Ligardes who kills Undine, Veronica, and Flora on sight. Jean is pierced through, but her fate is yet to be determined.

Anne Heche and her Men in Trees co-star James Tupper have shacked up in Vancouver after hooking up on set last January. "We are just exploring our relationship and it has been going very well," Tupper told a Vancouver paper. "Where is it going? I don't know. Ask me again in a year." As for living in Canada, the actor says, "Canadians are so respectful, they really leave us alone a lot. We have experienced nothing but generosity and openness." Before heading to their new home in Vancouver to work on the second season of the show, Tupper and Heche spent three and a half months in LA with Heche's 5-year-old son Homer. "He is unbelievable," Tupper says of Homer. "We had a cast baseball game on the weekend and he came off and slugged it over the short stop. He has got a preternatural swing." Tupper insists that he and Heche maintained clear boundaries while they were both in relationships with other people. "In that friendship, we kind of discovered we saw the world in a somewhat similar way," he says. "I think we both made decisions that were based on the relationships we were in." Of Heche, Tupper says, "I wish people could meet her in person. She has such a sparkle and such a love for people and she works so hard. She is so dedicated to all the good things."

In an interview with New York Magazine, Mary-Kate Olsen reveals that she ditched her courseload at NYU because she was spooked by classmates who were spying on her. Fellow students were selling stories to tabloids and working at glossies that were happy to receive dispatches from the classroom. "They'd have internships at the weeklies," Olsen says. "Learning is not fun if you're not safe." The diminutive twin didn't actually drop out - she's still enrolled and has only a year and a half to go until she earns a degree. She is due to deliver a third album for her label, and she has told her assistants that she wants to make it happen. "Lindsay loves music," says a friend. "She loves writing songs. She has let execs know she's ready to deliver the album." A music exec said, "A record by Lindsay Lohan costs almost nothing to make. She doesn't need a big band. You just give her some songs and session musicians. And, God knows, she already has name recognition." Nicole Kidman and Ralph Fiennes are set to co-star on a Nazi drama from the filmmaker who directed her to an Oscar in The Hours. The Reader is set in postwar Germany and follows the story of Michael Berg, who is 15 years old when he begins a long, obsessive affair with Hanna, an enigmatic older woman. He never learns much about her, and when she disappears one day, he expects never to see her again. But to his horror, he discovers that she is a defendant in a Nazi war crimes trial, and it soon becomes clear that she is guilty of an unspeakable crime. Production is set to begin next month in Germany - maybe Kidman will run into her ex, Tom Cruise, who is there filming a Nazi flick himself.

She may be friends with a who's who of Hollywood starlets, but Rumer Willis says she has great mentors to thank for keeping herself together. "I see a lot of situations that seems to me to be lacking a self-respect and a self-value where girls get drunk and they just kind of fall over each other," the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore says. "Unfortunately, when you know you're growing up and you are in this business, you don't really have the same ability to make mistakes and have it not be really detrimental. Honestly, it's been kind of making mistakes and figuring them out and having a lot of really great people as my mentors. I learned very quickly what kind of person I didn't want to be." Willis was in a hotel room when police arrested a man on drug charges last month, but says she's learned how to remove herself from bad situations. "It's really easy to say, 'Look people are doing something that I don't like and I don't want to be around. I'm gonna go,'" she said. When asked if she reads online blogs, Willis said, "I try not to. I used to a lot and it was really hurtful... There's obviously a lot of people that want to say that...I have some big trust fund. And it's so easy to judge people and put them down when you're not looking at them in the face."

Kevin Federline's defense team delivered another subpoena yesterday morning for his upcoming custody trial against Britney Spears. KFed's lawyer confirms that Promises Treatment Center in Malibu was served yesterday morning, saying, "An executive administrator from Promises rehab facility was served with a subpoena." Are Nicole Richie and Joel Madden engaged? After a late performance last night with Good Charlotte in Arlington, Va., Madden was walking offstage when a radio deejay announced to the crowd, "He got engaged yesterday! Congratulations, Joel!" Madden quickly glanced back over his shoulder but was otherwise unresponsive. "We heard this morning," the radio host told People mag. Saying he got the news from "good sources," the deejay said he'd offered congrats to Madden earlier in the night. "He said, 'Thank you so much.' They're very excited about the baby and the wedding. They want to keep their personal life personal."

Brit's lawyer close to resigning

Even Britney Spears's attorney is tired of her. According to TMZ, sources close to the divorce case say Laura Wasser is about to resign as the popstar's lawyer. Wasser sealed the deal on Spears's divorce from Kevin Federline last month, and has reportedly put her in touch with other lawyers who could help in her ongoing custody battle.
