Learn how to draw Ravage from Transformer 2 movie inspired design, Mecha Mecha: style step by step voice over explaining in general art demo. This drawing, painting video tutorial shows you from basic rough sketching to finish drawing quick sketch for comics cartoon illustration, manga, anime.

The sketch took me about 20-30 mins inspired by the Transformer 2 trailer.
I am sort of Excited about the movie. The first one didn't impress me much, but I like it. I saw a clip of Ravage on the Revenge of the Fallen, so I am just trying to do my take on it. Anyway, I heard rumor that Megatron will not appear in this one but I could be wrong.

Kodomo no Jikan: Ni Gakki OP Single - Guilty Future by Eri Kitamura

Last week I reviewed the ED theme song for the Kodomo no Jikan: Ni Gakki anime (here). Maybe I should have written about the OP first! So here it is... The song is sung by Eri Kitamura.

6/10 Guilty Future feels like a techno song and a times even like hardcore Trance song. And strangely enough, I don't find it bad! I'm usually not the one to like such songs, but this one is weirdly addictive... What do you think about this song??

Finding Libra Tattoos

I thought it would be next to impossible to find a collection of one-of-a-kind tattoos as I would have to trudge through God knows how many websites but to my amazement, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Gundam 00 S2 Insert Single - Tomorrow by Ayumi Tsunematsu (Marina Ismail)

Thank God! I finally get to hear the Single for the Gundam 00 S2 insert song "Tomorrow" by Ayumi Tsunematsu (who does Marina Ismail) after weeks of waiting in anguish! We first got to hear the song in episode 14 of the second season. I reviewed the song here and did a piano cover of the song here. Somebody even ripped my piano video from youtube and uploaded it as his own back on youtube without even mentioning me (grrr...). At least it proves that it's quite popular!

9/10 At last, we get to hear Ayumi Tsunematsu's voice, which was covered by all the children during the episode. The first track which is the full version with just Ayumi's voice is my favorite version! It's more like an orchestral version as well, and it's much better than the organ version in the series. Kenji Kawai's talent truly shines throughout this version and we really get a better sense of the melody as well. I also enjoyed listening to the the piano and strings version. I don't really understand why they would use the least beautiful version in the series...

The Watchmen is finally here! I saw it on the eve of the debut of The Dark Knight, the first official full length trailer for Watchmen has arrived. The first time I watched this trailer, it took my breath away. Years of anticipation and so much more has finally led to this debut of the very first real footage - and I really HOPE the movie does NOT let down.
Zack Snyder's a director so...if it's only 80% as good as the 300, then it should be good right? But I sure hope for better. :) But it's gonna be hard to top the 300.

Following a magical Oscar weekend, Jennifer Aniston was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday (February 23), headed for New York City.

The “He’s Just Not That Into You” hottie sported a black jacket with a grey zip-up sweater and a pair of distressed jeans as she made her way through the terminal.

Jen is traveling back to the Big Apple to film her next two movies, according to FOX News, and it surely can’t hurt that her main squeeze John Mayer calls New York home.

People often ask me how come I don't really finish my painting. My answer would be it takes too long, I am not quite an illustrator...that's why I am a concept artist. The key to concepting is you have to be fast, get your idea out of the door. Make it cool and readable to most audience. Whenever I want to start to come up with concept idea, I usually do this speedpainting concept spend about twenty minutes to an hour to get the idea down. Ok, Kapow is back...I start doing half a page for quality control since the comics is getting serious and there maybe historical time line and figures within along with my bs story line and characters. So I will try to do better art work and possibly 4 panels to maybe pushing it 6 panels at times. Depending on how much time I have available apart from things. :)

Here is a map of China so that it would help you visualize where things are happening in the story. Jilin Province (where these guys are) is way up north, and whatever happened (Big Bow, Mei, Cheng, etc.) in the first chapter is in the city of HangZhou within ZheJiang Province. The story will reveal more and more as you follow along with us. :)

And in 1909, the Construction of the 189 km railway between Shanghai and HangZhou was complete. (Kapow Express's original name was Shanghai Express, anyone?)

Fun fact, during that decade China's railway development was flourishing like bees and flowers in Spring season.

New way to read or present comics in digital world

Saw this post on PVP blog and I thought I would share it with you guy.

This is very cool way to present comics I LOVE IT!
This was done by ~Balak01 over at deviantART who presents his thoughts on the potential of what digital comics could mean. It was presented in the whole new super cool way. It was done in Flash...so. I think there should be some kind of open source Online Platform that you could also converted it to. I will have to think about it also. It's super very cool somehow, nice to see every time NEW idea emerge. Some even say it could be super cool on Iphone or any smart phone!

Kapow Express the coolest online manga of its kind update is coming this weekend, I am sure...so...sorry for the long wait guys. :)

Joe Hisaishi Live - Studio Ghibli Concert 2008 Video

2 weeks ago I wrote a post about the Joe Hisaishi Live Concert commemorating 25 years of collaboration between the 2 geniuses that are Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi (here). Today I give you the video of this amazing concert. It is without a doubt one of the most exciting and beautiful concerts I have ever seen in my entire life! It is so breathtakingly awesome that I won't be reviewing it song by song as I initially wanted to. I think that just watching the videos is enough to make you love it!

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! OP5 Single - last cross by Masami Mitsuoka

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, is an ongoing anime series adapted from a manga written and illustrated by Akira Amano. It's one of those animes that I've never heard of and are apparently quite popular! The plot revolves around the life of a young boy named Tsunayoshi Sawada, who finds out that he is the next in line to become the boss of the most powerful Mafia organization, the Vongola Famiglia. As such, the Vongola's most powerful hitman, a gun-toting infant named Reborn, is sent to tutor "Tsuna" on how to become a respectable boss. It has become one of the best-selling Weekly Shōnen Jump manga with several of its volumes becoming top-sellers in Japan. The OP5 theme song is by Masami Mitsuoka.

8/10 I really enjoyed listening to last cross! It's one of those guitar-driven songs that has a catchy melody and cool rocky feel to it... And even though the singer's voice is nothing out of the ordinary, it's a nice feel good song!

8/10 This is quite an addictive song... I love all the different versions of this song, since all of them are pure pleasure. The main vocalist has a great voice. His voice kind of reminds me of another singer, but I don't remember who. Anyway, that and the awesome melody and rocky feel make for a winning combination. I also love the fact that the song feels like a sad ballad... Tell me what you feel about the song, and which version you prefer!

5/10 Thank God it's not as bad as the OP song. That said, it certainly isn't a masterpiece. I'm really not into chipmunk voices such as these, that are supposed to sound cute and all. It's not kawaii for me, sorry! As for the melody, it's of average quality, at best...

I really love the design of this particular characters, I think overall they did a great job on the up coming film.
